Quantum Physics

I am not sure what physics means much less quantum

I did watch the TV show Quantum Leap in the boys' dormitory

I mention that I watched it in the boys' dormitory because my family didn't have a TV at home

I saw the same actor in a movie where he was the manager of a minor league baseball team but he wanted to become the manager of the Minnesota Twins

Before he could get there his team had to beat the Twins

I didn't like that

The Twins appeared in other movies too and I guess they needed the money

But I am so happy the Twins played in the greatest World Series ever

Game Seven still gives me the shivers

It was John Smoltz pitching and Jack Morris pitching back and forth their arms drawing back and whoosh

I watched Jack Morris as if I had a fingerprint on him because he and my mother went to the same school Highland Park at the same time though she stayed in the deaf wing and didn't see him much

I watched Game Seven in the boys' dormitory but for Game Six my family went to a restaurant where there was a big screen

When Kirby Puckett hit that home run to tie the series I felt like I had a fingerprint on him because I owned a baseball he autographed for me

How that happened was my father wanted a better deaf school than the one I was going to

He worked on it nights and it became Metro Deaf School though too late for me to attend it

Star Tribune sent a reporter named Jim Lee to interview him several times

Jim Lee learned that I had a baseball card collection and he said next time he came he would have a surprise for me

He kept his word and he beamed as I read what was on the baseball

John Clark my best wishes Kirby Puckett #34

My baseball card collection is gone now that I am blind but I still have that baseball

Man you should have heard us when Danny Gladden or to use his full name Clinton Daniel Gladden III or The Dazzle Man touched down on home plate

Now that that has a fingerprint on me

As for that guy in Quantum Leap I don't remember much of what he did other than

Well he kept on looking at mirrors and seeing himself or not seeing himself or maybe it was both
